In April, we were on the brink of finally wrapping up our own construction projects. With preschool resuming and schedules back on track, we were laser-focused on getting our home back in order. Just as we were ready to close the chapter on our renovations, a request came in that we couldn’t ignore. A family with a 3-year-old boy with cerebral palsy needed a ramp – urgently. Their accessibility needs were critical, and we knew this was our moment to make a real difference! We made the call. Our own home projects? On hold. Zack jumped in, donating his time and skills to build the ramp. We reached out to our local network, and Richmond’s incredible community didn’t hesitate – materials poured in, donated by businesses who wanted to help make the ramp happen.
